...I Found This Book

My sister-in-law, Jenn, recommended this book to me about a month or so ago. Since then I've bought it and read it three times. Seriously. It has the perfect combination of humor, love, and grief all mixed in with a little history. It takes place a year or two right after WWII and follows the story of an author who makes friends with people in Guernsey- a little island in the English Channel. Its a fascinating tale and a lot of fun to read. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society- go get it.
