The things we brought back

A long time ago I decided that I didn’t want to buy random tchotchkes on my trips; I wanted to buy meaningful things to remember where I had traveled. I started buying artwork from the places I’ve been (Ha! Kind of funny after reading the previous post) and I love this tradition. I also tend to buy Christmas ornaments and nativity scenes (something my parents do when they travel). It’s been pretty cool to see all the things I’ve been able to collect from around the world. But the best thing that I got in Europe was a broken foot. Yep, I was lucky enough to get a stress fracture while walking around the Republic.
